Radical Self-Forgiveness:
The art and science of letting go
We talk about forgiveness as if it is something we are supposed to feel and do.
But how do you actually do it?
It can feel much more natural to cling to criticism, blame, and judgment, especially toward ourselves, despite the personal cost.
Radical self-forgiveness is not wishing or pretending the past did not happen.
It is upgrading your perspective of others and of yourself so you are no longer locked into a fixed opinion of who you were. The past happened. But you stop letting it govern the present.
Radical self-forgiveness is ending your loyalty to an outdated self-concept.
You are no longer obligated to the version of you that made that mistake.
Self-forgiveness is realizing you are not the fixed character in the story you keep retelling.
If you want to come along on this journey, join me, Ann Washburn, as I teach what I’ve learned about the how of radical self-forgiveness.
Live on Friday, March 6th at 7:00 AM (MT).
